Built by the Rolt brothers at the Bristol Classic Boat Company and launched in 2008, Pegasus was, like the Challenger 2 and Challenger 4 yachts, built with young people in mind. Based on traditional Bristol Channel pilot cutters, this elegant, luxurious vessel is fast with easy rigging, making her perfect for inexperienced and younger crew. Below deck she is very spacious with great cooking facilities and living accommodation, making for a comfortable introduction to sail training. She is operated as a sail training vessel by the Island Trust and regularly races competitively in the Tall Ships races.
