Winner of the overall fastest ship in the Tall Ship Races 2013, Tomidi is perhaps the most successful Belgian ship ever. She is the only Belgian sail racer ever to have participated twice in the prestigious Whitbread Round the World Race (now known as the Volvo Ocean Race). Tomidi was designed by the French architect Guy Ribadeau-Dumas, built as a one-off at Frans Maas/Standfast Yachts. She is now used as a sail training vessel for all ages, but still takes part in long-distance races.
