Launched in the Netherlands in 1916, the Iris is a traditional Dutch herring lugger. She was later modified to be a coastal trader, and then offered cruises to destinations as far away as the North Cape. She has five twin-berth cabins with a spacious lounge and galley, and even a library! With all sails set, Iris can reach a top speed of 11 knots.
