Combe Down Tunnel, near Bath

Combe Down tunnel was on the old Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway which ran from Bath to Bournemouth. The line closed in 1966 and the tunnel, which is more than a mile long, is now owned by Wessex Water. This tunnel and the Devonshire tunnel were opened as permanent cycle/foot paths in April 2013.
