The cage of the Farley fountain is a cast iron structure made at the Saracen Foundry of W McFarlane in Glasgow. It was given by Alderman J Farley to commemorate his mother Elizabeth Farley and the inscription reads 'In loving memory of Elizabeth Farley. This fountain was erected by her son Alderman Farley JP 1885'. It was Grade II listed on 18th June 1987. It stood in the town's Dartmouth Park until being moved to its present position in Princess Parade (British Listed Buildings). Time taken 3.42 pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
