The sign is alongside the A4222 Cowbridge Road. The only passenger access between the two platforms at Pontyclun railway station is via this footbridge, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4145306 so wheelchair users and other people unable to use the footbridge need to enter the station on the correct side for their journey.
