Former Telephone Exchange, Bruntingthorpe

Situated in Main Street North of Bruntingthorpe, this building dates from the GPO era and used to take the name Peatling Magna, a village 2km North. In the 1960s, its STD code was 0LE 758, being part of the Leicester group of TEs. It was replaced by a larger adjacent building possibly in the early 1980s http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4140391 refers.
