The building was formerly the lifeboat house from Cromer in Norfolk which was moved down to Southwold by sea in 1998 http://www.alfredcorry.co.uk/. It houses the Alfred Correy, a former Southwold lifeboat built by Beeching Brothers of Great Yarmouth in 1893.
