The name of the fields according to Woodmancote's 1839 tithe map that have been merged to form a larger unit. The Upper Mead lay on the northern side with Pine Leg to the south now largely containing Image To the north is Image, to the south is Image and to the east is Image The fencing marks out the footpaths, one heading west to Park Farm and the other south to Woodhouse. All of the land between the A23 and Henfield is currently threatened with a proposed private development to build a new garden town the size of Burgess Hill.
