Walpole Park is the grounds of Pitshanger Manor. The park is famous for its trees as each Mayor of Ealing has planted a tree in an avenue. At the time of writing a substantial restoration is being undertaken of both the house and the park which should be completed in 2017 - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitzhanger_Manor The houses in this photograph beyond the rustic bridge are in Mattock Lane, along the north side of the park.
