A very grand pub on Wellingborough Road, built in 1898. Roseholme Road, on the left, leads to Northamptonshire County Cricket Club's Wantage Road ground, whose floodlights tower above the surrounding streets. Two of the six show to the left of The Abington and another two (just) to the right.
