Opened in 1850 by the South Wales Railway on the line from Cardiff to Swansea, this station closed in 1964. It was rebuilt and reopened in 1992. View north east towards Llanharan and Cardiff. The 1992 station seen here has the Cardiff-bound platform on the far side of the level crossing. The previous station had both platforms on this side of the crossing.
