Early 19th century housing originally conceived by W E Powell of Nanteos, and named after his wife Laura. In this photo are nos 3 - 6 forming part of one group between King Street and New Street (see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4124555 for photo of the complete terrace) with nos 7 - 9 beyond (see Image). All the buildings are grade II* listed - see http://cadwpublic-api.azurewebsites.net/reports/listedbuilding/FullReport?lang=en&id=10257 and http://cadwpublic-api.azurewebsites.net/reports/listedbuilding/FullReport?lang=en&id=10263 for description covering the two groups respectively (although in practice each building is separately listed).
