Rooley Moor Road is a very long road, from Spotland Bridge at Rochdale all the way across the eponymous Moor to Stacksteads in Rossendale. It is not, however, motorable as a through route - even a 4x4 would have difficulties. The northern end, shown here, is just about metalled for a mile or so.
