At the Livingstone Memorial Church on Glasgow Road. Inscription reads 'This statue erected by public subscription to the memory of David Livingstone. Born 19th March 1813 at Blantyre. Died 4th May 1873 at Chitambo-Ilala, Africa. Unveiled by his daughter Mrs Livingstone Wilson 16th March 1913'.
