Viewed across Edward Street. The corner office is Age UK (formerly Help the Aged). In the background is the former Angel Mill, completed in 1809, named after the nearby inn. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4115251 Angel Mill was one of the first purpose-built steam powered factories in the area. Abraham Laverton owned the mill from 1852. He added to the buildings, including a weaving shed dated 1868. Angel Mill was Grade II listed in 1950. The mill closed in 1969.
