Vale Royal Abbey Golf Course

Vale Royal Abbey Golf Course was officially opened in 1998 in the grounds of Vale Royal Abbey. Dating back to the 13th century, the Abbey was founded by Prince Edward, the future King Edward I. An old footpath crosses the course at this point.
