Viewed across Station Road in early August 2014 when a caterpillar-tracked machine was moving earth in front of the former Panteg and Griffithstown railway station. Passenger services here ceased at the end of April 1962. Nearly 200 metres to the south, the former station goods shed survives, now in use as a children's nursery, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4113940 previously a railway museum.
