This angling lake, once an old gravel pit, is at the end of a footpath from Great Bromley Farm. This lake was also the home of Two Tone, a mirror carp reputed to be Britain's biggest carp, who was found floating dead in spring 2010. He weighed 67lb. 14ozs. and was believed to be at least 40 years old.
