The Holywood Road descends from Craigantlet and forms part of the back road from Belfast to Newtownards. This is the view towards Newtownards with a rare example of a “C” road shown on a road sign. Another point of interest is that the road to Newtownards is shown on the sign (above the car) on a green background (ie as a trunk road) but on the OS map as a yellow minor road.
