One of two ancient preaching crosses in the churchyard of St Edward's Church, the east wall of which can be seen here. The cross, on a more modern base, is thought to be 7th-century. The "wheel-head" at the top is missing. There are carvings in Scandinavian style, visible particularly on the collar, which has an interweaving pattern.
