The Vine at Kinver owes its genesis to the coming of Image and the 1830 Beer House act this allowed for the sale of Beer and Cider but not spirits or wine. This kind of Ale House was not licensed for the Sabbath. Today it is a thriving Free House see http://www.expressandstar.co.uk/2007/01/27/the-vine-kinver/ and is it is conveniently located for a pint while passing through Image The photo was taken from the Bridge over the Canal on Dunsley Rd.
