An Easter Walk in the Conwy Valley - 27

Image: © Alan Walker Taken: 8 Apr 2007

This photograph of farmland in the Conwy Valley was taken from a public footpath on a circular walk that leads from St Mary, Caer Rhun to Ty’n-y-groes and back via Pontwgan. Following the photographs in sequence the walker will have approached this point by following the western bank of the Afon Roe over the stile from the field beyond. Ladder stiles are something of a feature of this walk. The Image is one of a number in the area taking power to the Dolgarrog Aluminium Plant http://www.dolgarrog.com/ . Behind the viewpoint, the footpath continues along the western bank of the Image until it joins another public footpath near Farchfel.
