I saw this last night about 7.30, as it moved along fields about 400m away from where I live in Billinge, near Wigan. It was accompanied by a roaring sound like a jet engine for about 2 minutes with high winds & as it moved away, the winds dropped suddenly followed by dead calm & silence. No reports of damage so far...
