Built between 1795 and 1802 to house two congregations, The English or Lowland and the Gaelic or Highland, a solid wall separated the two. In the 1950's with few Gaelic speakers left, the Gaelic part of the church was adapted for use as a church hall. The church is effectively in the middle of the A83. For the other end Image
