The original "Waters Edge" at Ruislip Lido was a pub/restaurant built in the Art Deco style in 1933. Destroyed in an arson attack in 1993, the Waters Edge was rebuilt in a similar style in 1996. Lido history on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruislip_Lido
