A triangular plaque near to the artwork reads: 3A. Diane Dever & Jonathan Wright This sculpture marks an ancient crossing over the River Pent, which now flows hidden underground. Over the road, the river is remembered in the shape of the Foco Club, built as a public baths, and in the stone plaque memorial to the Silver Springs bottling company. The artwork is situated at the junction of Black Bull Road and Foord Road North.
