Hudgill Lead Mine Bingsteads

This unusual group of buildings are the Hudgill Lead Mine Bingsteads. Bingsteads being storage areas for concentrated ore after it had been washed. The works are believed to be part of the Greenwich Hospital holdings in the area and were built about 1817, and are a scheduled ancient monument.
