The station house at Berrington in Shropshire, situated at the northern end of the Severn Valley line which ran from Shrewsbury to Kidderminster. The line closed before the Beeching axe fell, but the southern half between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster now operates as a preserved line. In 1993, the station appeared distinctly down at heel; nowadays it looks much smarter. It's in use as a private house and a cattery.
