This is on the site of the original Southampton Crematorium, since moved to accommodate the M27 In the old garden of remembrance is this memorial to servicemen and women who died as a result of enemy action in World War Two, and were cremated here. The low building behind is a columbarium, with shelves bearing caskets of ashes of the deceased.
