Ripening barley fields under a big sky east of Caddam in Angus - a week of warm weather has brought many crops near to harvest - combine harvesters were evident in a number of local fields. The slightest hint of green can still be seen amongst the barley, which is now mostly golden - the change in colour from green to browns and gold highlights the changing of the seasons, and also serves as a reminder that winter in will follow in its turn.
