Currently a private medium secure hospital dealing with patients suffering from various mental health problems. The first hospital on the site was opened in 1902 as Deans Farm Hospital for infectious diseases which after the Second World War became the Mid Sussex Isolation Hospital and later Goddards Green Hospital for the mentally handicapped. That institution was closed sometime in the 1990s and the buildings demolished. The current unit was built around 2001.
