Small nameplates on the gateposts show WHARF HOUSE WHARF MEWS WHARF LODGE. On the gates, the name is W LUCY & CO, a reminder that this site was formerly the Eagle Ironworks, owned by W. Lucy & Co. The works ceased production in 2005, and were demolished in 2007.
