The lane from which Image] was taken crosses the disused Plymouth, Devonport and South Western Junction Railway, here in a cutting. This section of line, from Bere Alston to Lydford, which had closed in 1915 and re-opened during the second World War, finally closed in 1968. Image] shows the view to the left from the bridge.
