The Borders Abbeys Way is a long distance circular path in the Scottish Borders. Here it follows the line of the old railway line from Roxburgh to Jedburgh. The line was opened in 1856; passenger services were withdrawn from the line in 1948 although the line continued to operate for goods until 1964.
