The four pairs of narrow Corinthian columns were once the façade to the former Cornhill Corn Exchange of 1857. They now form the façade and entrance to Castle Street Shopping Centre. The façade is Grade II-listed by English Heritage (English Heritage Building ID: 244407 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-244407-facade-cornhill-corn-exchange-castle-cen British Listed Buildings).
