Creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense) and mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris). The latter, an evil-smelling plant, is related to wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) which is used to make the drink Absinthe. No wonder you are supposed to pour it over a sugar cube - a bit like polio vaccine! All in all a pretty anti-social pair of plants.
