This photo shows the steam locomotive Oliver Cromwell arriving at a crowded platform 1 in Eastbourne. The train is shown stationary at the extreme end of the line. The visit of the train was in connection with a special commemorative tour celebrating 150 years of the Seaford to Brighton rail link.
