The photograph shows the B5106 entering Ty’n-y-groes (ahead) from the north. This section of road (watch out for traffic) is part of a walk that leads from the little church of St Mary, Caer Rhun to Ty’n-y-groes and back via Pontwgan. Just beyond the bus shelter (on the right) there is track that carries a public footpath westward. The walk continues along this track. The road joining obliquely on the left is Glan-y-wern.
