This is all that remains of the main east-west runway of RAF Downham Market. September 2016: The last bit of runway remaining on the site of the former aerodrome is currently in the process of being removed to make way for the construction of the Centre for Advanced Knowledge Engineering (CFake). January 2018: Plans for the construction of CFake have not materialised due to the lack of public funding.
