This used to be a minor road linking the villages of Crimplesham and Wimbotsham. It was closed during the war because it traversed the northern part of the airfield, but opened to the public again after the war. It now seems to be closed for traffic for good, serving as a public footpath linking Bexwell Road (A1122) with the A10 road further to the north-west.
