Public artwork in Kelso town square, funded by Sainsbury's Public Art Competition. The stone, carved by local artist Jake Harvey, is inscribed with the names of local place names within 10 km of Kelso. The inscriptions are derived from originals supplied by members of the local communities in question. The top of the stone is highly polished. This photograph shows some interested passers-by trying to get their heads round the concept.
