Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the car park has 334 spaces. At the car park entrance in Quay Street on the left, an overhead barrier limits vehicle height to 1.85 metres (6 ft). Viewed in 2014. The car park was built on the site occupied by Cardiff Central Fire Station for many decades. The fire station was demolished after closure in 1973.
