This photo shows Black 5 No 44932 in Eastbourne. Black 5 (or Class 5 Mixed Traffic) was designed by Sir William Staines when he was Chief Mechanical Engineer for the London Midland and Scottish (LMS) railway. The train is shown on its second run of an anniversary tour celebrating 150 years of the Seaford to Brighton line. The day tour started and finished in Kensington (Olympia).
