The stone slabs on Image are inscribed: 'The time capsule within this bench was laid here in June 2012 by the people of Warton. We would aim that it be opened in 60 years time'. 'Sparrow Park has been rejuvenated by Warton Village Society to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee'.
