The Speke and Garston Coastal Reserve consists of a stretch of the estuary shore from Garston Docks to Speke Hall. This local nature reserve with its meadows and wildlife habitats, interwoven with footpaths and cycle trails, is now a haven of tranquillity which has risen from the rubble of the original Liverpool Airport site.
