The south side of Victoria Street has grand Victorian commercial buildings. This was built in 1869-70 for the Imperial Fire and Life Insurance Co., and designed by Robert Evans. In 1912-13, W.B. Starr & Hall added the porch and dormers for the Nottingham Liberal Club. Grade II listed. Now the Victoria Club, a casino.
