An ingenious purpose-made sundial on the wall of Kelso Pottery. The shadow of the gnomon indicates 1.45 pm but this refers to GMT, and the clock time (BST) at the moment of photography was in fact 2.45. The sundial does not work before 12 noon as the sun is round the other side of the building in the morning.
