Congregation was inaugurated on 7th December 1930 by Continuers from the surrounding district. Services were held fortnightly or monthly until 1944 when Dr W I Ernslie served as voluntary pastor until 1963. Church opened on 9th March 1949 although the building has a date stone of 1947.
