View northward on the A101 Manor Road towards Stratford: the platforms on the right on the ex-GER Stratford - North Woolwich line were only opened 14/5/79 and temporarily closed 1994-97. Beyond is the LUL Jubilee Line Extension to Stratford, on which a 'Tube' train is passing, although the line was not open to the public for nearly another year! Ahead is the bridge carrying the ex-Midland Tilbury line, Fenchurch Street - Shoeburyness, and the LUL District Line to Upminster, their platforms being to the right.
